Once we know what you need, we’ll outline exactly how we can make it happen.
After our initial chat, you’ll receive a tailored proposal and quote that outlines your project scope, timeline, inclusions, and investment. We usually split payments into stages, with only a deposit required to get started. We’re flexible and can work with you to find a payment plan that suits your budget and timeframe.
Once the proposal is approved and the deposit is paid, your project officially begins. This is also the time to start gathering any materials we might need, such as:
- Images or photography you’d like included
- Text from your current website or marketing materials
- Logos, brand assets, and any other resources you already have
We’ll guide you through everything we need, step by step, so you feel confident and ready for the design phase.
SEO Research & Planning
A well-structured website starts with strong SEO foundations and a clear understanding of your online landscape.
Before we begin the design, we focus on building the framework that helps your website perform well in organic search. We work in partnership with David from Website Optimisers, an experienced SEO consultant who takes the time to understand your business and goals.
Once we’ve shared all the details about your services, target audience, and industry, David conducts in-depth research and provides:
- A list of your online competitors
- Keyword research highlighting key search terms
- Insights into service areas where there’s opportunity in the market
Using this information, he creates a detailed sitemap outlining the recommended internal pages and how they should be organised. We’ll review this plan together to make sure it aligns with your business priorities before moving into the design and content phase.
Design, Content & Build
This is where your ideas come to life.
We build every website in WordPress, one of the most reliable and flexible platforms available. This allows us to create your site from the ground up so it works perfectly with your existing or new branding and can be fully customised as your business evolves. You can view our list of website extras here.
If you have not yet shared your content or imagery, this is the time to do so. We find Dropbox or Google Drive the easiest way to share files.
If you prefer not to write your own content or dont have the time, we can provide professional content writing. We also often recommend professional photography to showcase your business, your people, and your story, although we are happy to work with any images you already have.
During this stage we set up your site’s styles, structure, and content, ensuring it is fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile. You will receive regular updates as we progress, and we usually schedule a meeting during this time to confirm we are on the right track and to discuss any specific ideas or changes you would like to make.
Launch & Ongoing Support
When everything looks and performs exactly as it should, it is time to go live.
Websites are not something you can set and forget. To stay visible and indexed in Google, your site needs regular updates, whether that is small text changes, fresh images, or new content.
This is why we offer ongoing support alongside our hosting and maintenance packages. These services include regular plugin updates (at least once a month), database checks, backups, and performance monitoring, keeping everything running smoothly and securely.
If you would like ongoing access to design or marketing help, we also offer Merge on Demand – a flexible service that allows you to request online or print design work whenever you need it.
